Our Trip to Idaho in Pictures:
We had a very fun trip to Idaho about a month ago.. I kept meaning to post this awhile back but I had to wait for Dee to upload pictures from his iphone.. anyway we left Thursday night (July 10) around 6pm so we could break up our trip. We were not sure how Elsie would be traveling.. This was her first road trip. We stayed at Dee's brother Vincent & his wife Liesa's house.
We left their hose Friday morning around noon, picked up some lunch & probably didn't get on the road to Idaho until 1ish. Elsie hates her car seat!! We had to stop a lot so I could change Elsie's diaper & feed her.
We got to my mom's house around 8pm.
The next morning we took family pictures since my brother Mason is going to be leaving on a mission soon. we spent the day in Nampa, Idaho.
Sunday July 13 was Dee's birthday. We planned to go to church with my mom but Elsie ended up falling asleep around noon & my mom's ward started at 1... oops. When Elsie woke up around 1:30 we went out to eat for Dee's birthday. He got a free Grand Slam at Denny's.
Then that night we went over to my grandparent's house & had a big birthday celebration for all my brothers & sisters.. & Dee (all my siblings, my husband, & Megan's husband's birthdays are in July & August.. besides Kayleeh.. so my mom always does one big birthday for everyone whenever we visit).
Monday July 14 we went out to Mann's Creek & got to ride on the boat. It was fun!
Tuesday we went & saw Heaven is For Real at the $1 dollar theater.. Elsie didn't like it.
Wednesday we saw How to Train Your Dragon 2... Elsie hated it. So I decided I am never taking Elsie to a movie until she is old enough to not cry. haha. Then later we went to Dinner with the Aveys in Boise! That was fun.
We left Thursday around noon... we meant to leave at 9am.. but that didn't happen. oops. & this time we had to drive all the way home instead of splitting the time up.. so we got home around 11pm...
Oh! & We stopped at Rita's Italian Ice in Salt Lake & let me tell you... IT WAS AMAZING! YUM! I wish they had one in St. George.
Over all it was a fun trip. Elsie got to meet all of her Aunt's & Uncles... & her great grandparents. But we probably will not be going on any more road trips until Elsie is older... maybe next summer (:
