Baby Bella Photoshoot.

I usually don't take pictures of other people because I'm not a professional by any means and I will never claim to be, but since my sister asked me to help her take my niece's 1 year photos how could I say no? I don't want people to think I am claiming to be a professional photographer or that I'm aspiring to be one either, because I'm definitely not! I enjoy taking pictures and I wanted to be in charge of taking pictures of my daughter. That it the only reason why I got my Nikon D3200.. I don't think I could deal with being a photographer. I'm a big perfectionist and sometimes it takes me months to actually start liking the photos I've taken.. and I suck at dictating where people should be and what they should be doing in the pictures.. in other words being a photographer would be too stressful for me. With that being said, I love how some of these turned out! But I think it helped that I was photographing a little photogenic cutie. Love this sweet baby girl!

Ps.. I really need to work on making sure my camera bag is like seriously nowhere to be seen. (Face palm!)

February Updates:

-She has become super independent over night. I didn't think it was possible for her to get more independent than she already was.
-She always says "my turn! my turn"
-Elsie is starting to talk more and more out of no where!
-She repeats what we say now... -_- I guess I say freak a lot because that is her new word.
-She knows how to say Baby Bella now instead of "be-be Bear".

-Elsie knows all the colors.

-Elsie sings "This Little Light of Mine" It melts me every time she sings it!

-Elsie got her first haircut (Feb. 8)

-Elsie went to Disneyland for the second time in her life (Feb. 13-15)
-Elsie said "Where Uncle go mommy? Uh gammy? uh Auntie?"
-She says "Auntie mattie" (Auntie Maddie), "Uncle Mah-tie"(uncle Malachi), "Auntie Tay-lee" (Auntie Kayleeh), "Auntie Riss" (Auntie Marissah), "Uncle Mace" (Uncle Mason) & she cannot say Uncle Steffan yet. She just calls him Uncle.
-She calls my mom "gammy" and she calls my mom's fiance "papa".
-Elsie calls both Dee and I "babe" mainly when she thinks we aren't listening to her.

-We saw the Hover Dam for the first time. (Feb. 16)

-Elsie finally got both her left and right lower canine teeth in (Feb. 17)
-Elsie has a new cousin (Feb. 18)
-She says everything is hers. "my Elsa" "my minnie Moutse" "my phone" "my mommy"
-Elsie is obsessed with counting everything.
-Elsie is day weened. We are working on night weeping now but it is hard. Our goal is to work on it during spring break. (Feb. 23)
-when Elsie sees an old person she calls them grandma (Feb. 24)
-She weighs 27 lbs & is 35in tall.
-she says "goodness" all the time.

-Elsie turned 2 (Feb. 26)
-She knows 40+ signs in ASL. Her newest ones are egg & bacon.
-if she doesn't know the sign for something she will make one up!
-She calls Dee "daddy Dee"
-Dee took the GMAT (Feb. 29)
