Let's start the day off with a Blog!
So the last time I was on here it was July 5, 2012.. I kept meaning to post a couple things but I just never could find the time. Lately I've been thinking a lot about how time just goes by. Before you know it a whole year has completely gone by & you're left wondering "Where the heck did the time go? it was just last July.." Or whatever. It's so crazy how you think things will just go by slowly.. but then looking back at your life from the past, you realize time did NOT go slowly, it went way too fast! So I've decided that I want to live in the moment each & everyday just taking it all in & posting more on my blog so I can actually go back to those memories that I just can't seem to remember right. You know since I just can't write in a journal consistanly.. I've tried.. but eventually I get busy with "Other things" & don't have ANY time to write... & a year goes by & all that time in between wasn't recorded. I'm so afraid that I'll completely forget it all. I'm making a resolution.. not a New Year resolution, because lets face it, they never work. At least not for me. ha So I've thought a lot about how I'm going to write all these memories down & I came up with the conclusion: since I spend time on pintrest & facebook wasting my life away on there way too much, I thought, "Hey! Maybe I can 'waste' my time doing something better.. & write on my blog when I feel the urge to go on facebook or pintrest.. So here it goes:

CRAFT DAY!
I'm so glad I moved to the town my older sister lives in last October. We have gotten to spend more time together & I absolutely love it. When I first moved here we decided that we should have a craft day once a month & a sissy day/ girls day once a month as well.. I think it is important to have a girls day at least once a month or every other month. You know since guys & girls are sooo different & sometimes you just need a girl's insight on something. Don't get me wrong.. My husband is my absolute best friend in this whole intire world & I'd vent & talk to him about anything in a heart beat & we always have fun together. I'm not saying I don't.. I'm just saying sometimes it's nice having that quality girl time to agree on things & get advice!(:
Anyway so this was what Megan (my older sister) & I did on our last craft day:
DATE NIGHT JARS:
These are all the things you need to begin the craft:
*Popsicle sticks
*Paints.. I used crafty paint/ wood paint. (You can also spray paint or use markers or leave them plain like some other people have done)
*Cardboard
*Sharpies
*Stickers
*A jar
*Things to decorate the jar (We used Ribbon)
*Paint brushes
I painted mine three different colors so we'd have a variety of things to do.
Green: Dates that involve spending money..
Blue: Dates that are cheap/ stay at home dates.
White: Dates that involve planning.
(& I'm adding holiday dates later, they will be Red)
I mostly looked on line for different dates to do.. Since Dee & I always go to Dinner or a movie. I hate deciding & Dee loves going to movies. I love going to movies too... but I also like doing different things. But since I'm always indecisive I decided to make a date jar! This is where I got the ideas from:
&
Go look at those if you have trouble figuring out date nights(:
I Put blue stickers on mine "Date Jar"
I think it turned out pretty successful if I do say so myself!

DEE'S BIRTHDAY!
Dee's birthday was Friday July 13. We both had the day off so it turned out to be a lovely day. After work on Thursday Dee & I Rented a couple movies & stocked up on candy & We brought our bed out to the living room (Since we don't have a couch) & we enjoyed watching movies together.. We didn't fall sleep until 1 in the morning. haha That morning we actually slept in until 9 for once (Usually I hate sleeping in.. Absolutely hate it but it felt good just that once) We made crepes.. well I made crepes & then I made Dee a birthday cake. Dee loves Rainbow chip cake.. you know from a box. But Since I love to bake.. I hate making things from a box so I made it from scratch:
The rainbow chips are white chocolate.. So I melted white chocolate & used food coloring to make different colors.
I Absolutely love using my kicthen aid. It's probably the best thing invented! The rainbow chips looked so cute together (:
It turned out beautiful!
While I let the cake sit.. Dee & I went to this buffet.. Because he really loves Crab legs. haha Look how happy the birthday boy is!(:
When We got back I made him open his gift! I was so excited for him to open it because it was something he really wanted!(: & I wanted it too.. ha (The Book of Mormon for latter-day saint families)
Followed by: Cutting & eating the cake!
It was delicious!!! (: & Dee Liked it too! That's what really matters.
Happy birthday to my amazing husband!

BABYSITTING!
On Tuesday July 17th Dee & I watch our cute little Niece Harper while my Sister & Brother-in-law went out on a date. It started off really good. I sat in our living room playing with Harper for probably about 15 minutes. Then Dee came in & we all played together a little while longer.. but then I got up to finish making the lasagne for dinner. I was probably gone for 15 minutes. When I came back in the living room Harper did not seem too happy with me.. She looked like she was going to cry. so I went to pick her up.. & she did not want her aunt Michelle, she only wanted Uncle Dee. She didn't stop crying until I turned on The Princess & the Frog movie. After that she was as happy as can be. I assume she didn't want me because I think she realized her parents were gone.. & I was the last one she was with before they left. So I think she thought I took her away from them. She is a cutie. We loved watching miss Harper.. She is very active though.

DATE NIGHT!
Dee & I finally used our Date Night Jar. It was my turn since Dee's birthday was the week before & he chose what we did. The monday before the 20th (July 16th) I drew a Blue popsicle stick & It was:
"Go on a picnic."
So before Friday I had to decide where we would have our picnic.. After much thought & consideration ;) I decided the temple (St. George) would be a good choice & afterward we could do some temple work.
Dee & I set up the tri pod & Took some photos
(Something we used to do while we were dating.. It's so much fun!)
The picnic was a success & the date was so much fun. We got to enjoy the view & Just focus on each other. I'm so happy I made the Date Jar because there are so many things that I would have never picked to do on my own!
After we went into the temple (After the picnic) We decided to go do Indoor S'mores at my work! Which is so much fun! Espiecally with your other half(:
This date night was a lot of fun! I cannot wait to see what Dee Draws this week!
That's all for now!
