Time goes by too fast!

I just realized that time goes by so fast! (well I guess I didn't just realize that right now..) October 27 marked two years since I moved to St. George! It feels like I've lived here forever! Not just two years! I'm so happy I moved here! I know at first I thought St. George was weird.. & I planned on going back to California after I was done with school! But now I think St. George has a little piece of my heart.. Okay maybe a BIG piece of my heart. Yeah sure it is a different kind of pretty, but I've actually grown to love it!
I'm kind of sad that we are moving to Butte, Montana during the summer, because that means (most likely) bye bye to living in St. George forever! I mean I would love to live in St. George the rest of my life, but lets be honest, I don't really want my kids to grow up in Utah. Yeah I like the fact that EVERYONE & their dog is LDS... but that's the thing. Everyone seems to take advantage of it. It seems like some don't even appreciate it. There are a lot of Sunday Mormons.. & yes I'm well aware that everywhere has "Sunday Mormons" but I just feel like there is a different environment here than there is in other states. & for some reason I just don't want my kids to grow up in Utah.
Anyway I've been slacking.. I always want to write on my blog, but then other things come up.. or I just don't know what to write. Or I start writing & forget about it for a couple months so when I come back to it, I have no idea where I was headed with what I wrote. I guess kind of like what I'm doing now. I'm forcing myself to write something on my blog right now, & I have no idea where I'm headed with it. Or what the heck to even write about. haha I guess I can just give an update on life...

First things first... Dee & I are expecting! (:
We are having a little baby girl(: I'm 22 weeks & 4 days along. We are due March 1, 2014 (: We are both so excited! I would say what names we are considering, but apparently people end up fighting & stop talking to each other if you "steal THEIR name" I'm sorry I didn't know anyone owned names.. I mean if I hear a name I like, I'm going to use it. Sorry. If you hear a name from me & name your baby the name I already picked out, I don't care! I'm still going to name my child that. Just get over it. I guess I don't really know until it's actually happened to me. That's just how I feel outside of being in that situation. So I guess it's best not to announce what we think we are going to name our baby.
   14 weeks                                            16 weeks
     18 weeks                                          22  weeks
It's a girl! (19 weeks)
So Dee & I had the chance to go to General Conference on October 5! It was something I always wanted to do! I'm so glad I got to experience it before life gets busy (from having a baby) & we move away from Utah. We didn't have tickets, so we had to wait in the standby line! I think we were one of the last people in line to get standby tickets! So lucky! Dee was really excited because he got to see his mission president speak at conference (Elder Timothy J. Dyches).
My work had a Harry Potter Party! All the decorations were super cool! I wish I had taken more pictures, but sadly I only took these ones!
Sorry talking about Harry Potter made me remember this funny video! Enjoy:

Well Dee & I finally went to Mary Poppins! It was really good! I'm sad I didn't get to see the Mary Poppins I babysat for this summer perform though! That would have been cool! (there were two Mary Poppins, so some nights it was the Mary Poppins I babysat for who performed, or the other Mary Poppins).
Lindsey & Riss & Spencer came over on October 17 & we made homemade caramel apples! They were delicious!

Last Thursday (October 24) Dee and I went to the pumpkin patch (: I was a little disappointed though. I guess I was expecting Apple Hill... & Staheli Farm was definitely NOT Apple Hill. We basically paid 12 dollars for a small pumpkin! BOO! To get in to the place it's $9 dollars per person (we had a buy one entrance fee get one free though) & 3 dollars for our pumpkin, that's why I say we basically bought a small pumpkin for 12 dollars. Oh well. I learned my lesson, do not compare/or expect places to be like Apple Hill. It was still fun though, because I got to spend time with Dee (:
We watched the Goonies after we came home from the pumpkin patch! (: I love Halloween & watching Halloween movies (not scary movies.. Halloween movies).

OH! I forgot! I finally have been able to feel our baby move/kick me for almost a week now! She seriously never stops moving/kicking me! I wasn't expecting to feel her move/kick me so soon because the doctor said the placenta was in the way. That every time she kicked she was kicking the placenta, so I wasn't able to feel it. She must be pretty strong now. It's such a cool/weird feel!
& this week I officially do not fit my regular pants, I had to trade them in for Maternity clothes... Who knew maternity pants were so comfortable??

well that's all for now!

  1. Haha! That video is hilarious. We used to crack up over that all the time. Haha! I can't believe it has already been two years since you moved here. Time seriously flies. That's so exciting that you started feeling your baby move. I bet that's a really cool feeling.
