August Updates:

-We took a mini family vacation to San Antonio (Aug. 4)

-We saw the San Antonio LDS Temple.

-We went to the Alamo.
-Elsie rode on a boat for the first time. (We went on the River Walk boat ride).

-Elsie went on her third airplane ride (she loved it).

-Elsie and I stayed with Grandma for almost 2 weeks while Dee finished summer sales in Houston.

-Elsie tells me every time she poops. (We are working on potty training her! She is so ready!! She has gone a few nights with keeping her diaper dry.. we're just not there yet).

-Elsie loves the trampoline.

-Elsie held a bird for the first time. (Aug. 5)

-We went to the Payette County Fair! Elsie loved all the animals. (Aug. 7)

-Elsie said (Uncle) Mason... "Mace"

-I took Elsie to the Boise Zoo. It was her first time at a zoo. (Aug. 13)

-Elsie is cutting 6 teeth. -_- (both top and bottom molars, her bottom right lateral incisor, and her top right central incisor).

-Great Grandma Patty Cakes taught Elsie how to go down the stairs properly. (Aug. 14)

-Elsie loves playing and singing "Ring Around the Rosy". She sings it like this: "Ashies, Ashies, Ashies, Dow, Dow, DOWN!!" (She especially loves yelling "down" and falling on her bum).

-Reunited with daddy! We made it through summer sales! (Aug. 16)

-Elsie's 7th tooth came in.. Right top central incisor. (Aug. 16)

-Elsie can open doors. (Aug. 21)

-We have a new apartment. (Aug. 22)

-Dee and I are both going to school full time. (Aug 24) This is Dee's last semester before he gets his bachelors.

-Elsie is 18 months. (Aug. 26)
-When she wants us to hold her she reaches her arms up and says "me".
-Elsie went pee pee on the potty for the first time!! (Aug. 30)
-New signs Elsie knows: sorry, done/finished. All together she knows about 17 ASL signs.
-New words Elsie says: meow (kitty), slide ("side"), Milk ("muck"), food ("ood"), keys ("dees"), down, pizza ("pete-Z"), me, two, and please ("peas"). All together she knows about 40+ words.
- Phrases she knows: come here ("dah daaaa"), thank you, here you go ("daaa go").
-Food Elsie loves: cheese, macaroni and cheese, anything that has noodles in it (she loves pasta), strawberries, raw carrots, green beans, deli ham, pizza, eggs, rice, chicken, pork chops, olives, bananas, and gold fish.

-Elsie weighs 25 lbs and is 32.5 inches long.
