January Updates:

She fights me when it is nap time. I would just drop it so she'd go to bed earlier.. But she needs it! Otherwise I'm stuck with a sassy krank until bed time. 

She never wants to leave nursery.
Elsie likes to spend time with her cousins Ethan and Ameon.

Elsie searches for "Shadow" (from Bear in the Big Blue House) in our house. She walks up & down the hall screaming "Shadow".

Elsie learned to cross her fingers & she thinks it is pretty cool. 

Elsie loves putting mommy's shoes & socks on.

She knows the color brown (Jan. 9)

She loves Getting the mail. (We have to bribe with getting the mail so she will get out of her car seat)

She sings "clean-up clean-up clean-up everybody"
We went swimming at the Washington REC center with Auntie Megan, Uncle Justin, Harper and Benny. (Jan. 11)

She said "Andy Meggy" (Auntie Megan) for the first time (Jan. 11) 
I started teaching her the colors. This month I did Red, White, and Brown (Jan. 11)

She likes cashews
She played with calk for the first time (Jan. 18)
She loves to help bring in the groceries and put them away.
She loves playing (educational) games on her tablet.
Her new favorite show is Sofia the First.

She has been asking for milk & chocolate milk this week. She is still nursing so she never gave cow's milk the time of day until now. (Jan. 20)
Elsie insists on choosing what she wears & she will change her outfit more than once during the day.
She likes to run around naked & will throw a huge fit if I try to put a diaper or clothes on her.
Elsie is 23 months (Jan. 26)
Elsie is starting to sleep good at night. 4 hours straight (sometimes more) and then up every 2-3 hours.
Elsie went #2 on the potty by herself for the first time! (Jan. 29)
Her favorite color is Purple.
